Q: How and when do I get my race shirt?
You may pick up your shirt on Friday from 4PM - 7PM at Fleet Feet Crossroads - Wilmington (3852 Carolina Beach Rd Suite 120, Wilmington, NC 28412) OR on Sunday morning before the race from 6:30am - 7:30am. Check out the event schedule for more details.
If you are doing the virtual event your shirt will be mailed the week following the race.
Q: Can I run with my dog?
Although we are dog lovers we do ask for the comfort and safety all of the participants that you leave your four-legged friends at home.
Q: Can I run with a jog stroller?
For the safety of our participants, we ask that if you plan to run with a jog stroller you start at the back. This will help to keep our runners and strollers from getting tangled
Q: Are there water stations on the course?
NO! There are not water stations on the course. If you would like water, please bring a reusable water bottle.
Q: When and how can I use my Aquarium pass?
During packet pickup, you will receive an Aquarium pass that is good for one admission and is valid for one year. The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher operates on a reservation system. Your aquarium pass will have instructions for making your reservations. Presently, there are available spaces to visit the Aquarium on Sunday after the race, however, these spaces are first-come/first-served and you will need to make a reservation in advance.
Process for using your Aquarium pass on Sunday.
*If you pick up your packet on Friday you will be able to call on Saturday during the day to reserve your time slot. As these spots are first-come/first-served we encourage you to call early!
*If you pick up your packet on Sunday at the race, please go to the ticket window after the race to schedule your visit time for Sunday.
Q: What should I bring to Race for the Planet?
*Race bib if you picked up on Friday
*Reusable Water Bottle if you would like water on the course
*Household waste and electronics you would like to recycle
*Gently used shoes that we will be sending to Haiti
*Bug Spray – yes, it is fly, gnat and mosquito season in coastal North Carolina! If winds are light, you will want to have bug spray on hand to keep the bugs at bay!
